Does the PC version of BattleField 3 require an Online Pass?

I have the console version of Battlefield 3 but I want to switch over to PC. One of the deciding factors for doing this will be if the PC version requires an Online Pass, like the console versions do. SO i just need to know if the PC version of BattleField 3 requires an Online Pass for Multiplayer. Thanks.|||The PC version of Battlefield 3 requires you to install Origin, EA's version of Steam. You have to run the game through origin so in essence that is your online pass. The PC version is the best version to get IMO if your PC can handle it.|||IMO= In my opinion. and no, you dont have to pay an extra $10 to play online. Its $59.99 on the EA site and that gives you access to the whole game.
