What is a good Graphics Card for Battlefield 3?

So trying to upgrade for Battlefield 3. Already pre-ordered now i just need a new graphics card. What are some high end gaming cards that you recommend?|||actually a Good processor and DDR3 RAM play an important role too.

Make sure you have at least core 2 duo and around 4 GB DDR3 RAM

and for the card I would suggest the GTX series(GTX 580,GTX 560 Ti or any other suggested by the other answers)

OS is also important

If you have Vista throw it away.Even Bill Gates accepts the fact that it is a failed OS :p

get windows 7(preferably 64 bit version)

you should be good if you have most of the above mentioned things.|||The fastest, biggest and baddest one that: A. You can afford (and) B. Your power supply can support

What you can run depends on how much power and what connections you have available. There is a bit more to it than just buying a card and sticking it in a hole....You need to know the wattage of your PSU and what connections you have available for a PCIE graphics card. Anyone listing cards without knowing this is just throwing (uninformed) numbers at you. If you run out and spend all of your money on a high end card, you may not be able to run it without first upgrading the power supply.|||Depends on your budget.

If you are in the $200 and less group, go for a Radeon HD 6870. If you can go just a little bit more like $250, go for either a Geforce GTX 560 Ti, or a Radeon HD 6950.

If you've got $350 to spend - I would go for a Radeon HD 6970. Just a few bucks more is the GTX 570.

If can can spend $500 - the GTX 580 will destroy ANY game including BF3 on any setting.

Just remember- if your CPU is not up to the task, pairing it with a high end card like the 6970 will cause a "bottleneck" and you'll not get good performance. You need a i5 2500 (k or non k), or a i7 2600 (k or non k) to make your card really shine.

The best bang for your buck is the Radeon HD 6950.|||GTX 560,GTX 560 Ti, GTX 570, GTX 580

AMD Radeon HD 6950, AMD Radeon HD 6970

I you insist on getting more power SLI/CFX any of those cards (means getting 2-4 of the same cards if your motherboard supports it and connecting them via SLI/CFX bridge). And don't go for 6990 or 590, they are downclocked 580s and 6970s in them, just buy 2 580s/6970 and they'll perform better.|||Depends on your resolution.

1680x1050 or 1600x900) - GTX 550 Ti, GTX 560, GTX 560 Ti, HD 6850, HD 6870

1920x1080 or 1920x1200 - GTX 560 Ti, GTX 570, GTX 580, HD 6950, HD 6970

2560x1600 or multi-display mode - GTX 580, GTX 590, HD 6990, 2 HD 6950s in crossfire

Just make sure that your PSU can support your hardware and that your new GPU will fit in your case.|||BF3 recommends Radeon 6950 and Nvidia 560, though I am positive a 6870 would play it just fine.

SO I recommend a 560, or 6870, but hey if you have that extra $100, Why not get more?|||the high end ones

DUH|||HD 6970

GTX 570|||anything over 500mb|||GTX570, GTX580 and GTX590.
