What tips you have to play a BATTLEFIELD 3?

Hi,

I am sure some of my friends are expert in battlefield 3. Share with me , your tips and success stories while playing battlefield 3.|||DICE own advice:

- Stick to your team mates, and remember to spawn on them to stay close to the fight.

- Use your kit specific abilities to help your team mates. Assault can hand out med kits, Engineers can repair vehicles, and Support can hand out ammo.

- Make sure when you have armed an M-COM station, that you defend it to make sure it is destroyed.

- The bombed-out tunnel section in Operation M茅tro is an excellent place to use a flashlight as one of your weapon attachments. Use it to light the tunnels up 鈥?and to blind your enemies.

- Attach bipods to your weapon and deploy it automatically by pushing up against cover or going prone and zooming in 鈥?this gives you a huge increase in accuracy and stability.

- Use suppressive shooting (fire close to enemies behind cover) to negatively effect the enemy鈥檚 fighting capabilities.

- Watch out for falling debris as this can hurt you. But you can also hurt your enemies by taking out buildings with the Engineer鈥檚 RPG.

- Shotguns are excellent for CQC (Close Quarters Combat) in the tighter tunnels sections.

- Fire automatic weapons in short bursts for accuracy, or switch to single fire mode if applicable.

- To grab your enemy鈥檚 dog tag as a souvenir, do a stealth knife kill from behind.|||You need to know:

if you want to go all rambo, pick up an light machine gun with an bipod.

The bipod highly increases the accuracy and minimize the recoil ( the kick upwards when your firing an automatic weapon )

A foregrip on a light machine gun would do almost nothing ( in my gaming source )

For sniping, if you see an enemy from far, try to aim a bit higher (bullet traveler)

Oh and pick a gun, and use it all the time. You will unlock a night vision scope that allows to see the environment an dark colour and see people (dead and alive) in a very light colour.

I recommand an assault rifle, due the low recoil and the ability to use an bi pod.|||my experience with the beta is that sniping is a good option, staying away from the heat and covering the bomb points, if you arent the best at full frontal attacks try being a support trooper (my nickname for it) lay out health and ammo kits around the highest scoring players (this will get you exp for them picking it up and also improve your chances of winning the game.)

another way to level up fast and help out the team is being a mobile spawn point, stay back from the battle but stay within a decent distance to run to it, this helps your teammates by letting them get to the battle fast instead of spawning at people that are fighting and getting killed by a stray bullet, or getting stuck with running forever and hoping to get to a bomb before it detonates.

In my experience its a good idea to gun juggle (pick up every gun you see) til you find one you feel comfortable with then build a class around that gun, this is a good option on every FPS, it also gives you a goal to get to if you arent far enough in the level system to get that gun, which is always a good motivator.

and the #1 tip i can give you is dont get mad at the game, that just makes you make rash decisions and get even madder when they dont work. take your time, get your grips on the game, and have fun. =] hope this helps

-Ian|||Battlefield 3 comes out later in the year. Many of the skills and tips for other FPS's also apply to Battlefield 3. Practice makes perfect, and you just need to spend the time acquiring the skills of the game. Find maps that you are comfortable with, and play them often. While I do not condone camping, it is a good way to start.|||Don't spawn on squad mates when they're in cover and under fire, you could push them out of cover and get them killed. Or get yourself spawn killed. Don't always have your flashlight, red dot sight on, sometimes it just give up your position. Also DON'T SHINE YOUR LIGHTS IN TEAM MATES FACES, it does blind them. Bipods are amazing and never replace them with fore grip on an LMG. And one more thing I can think of, don't always be in a hurry to get an assassination kill. The little emote you do when killing the enemy takes time and it can get you killed. Don't forget, snipers have bullet drop, so when you're far away aim a bit higher.|||taking it sneaky always earns you a knife in the back. the beta map is for rushing as rush mode tells you. use an automatic rifle. sniper if you like them more.

m16a3 or m4a1 are good starters. svd is a good sniper rifle too but it has a short range scope. as you advance with ur rifle, u will earn a tac light. equip this and as u aim at an enemy, it blinds them and they cant see.

*****GLITCHES*****

1. sometimes when u press LT to aim, it wont aim. switching to ur secondary then back allows u to aim again

2. when you are inside the metro and die, sometimes u will not see ur killer, but an out-of-the-map building floating.

3.you will fall through the ground sometimes and get stuck. pausing an going to suicide gets you out but exiting the game is better.

4. sometimes when you start the game it will sho you a picture of operation metro but it wont let you play the game.

snipers have bullet drop so aim a little higher over their heads to get an easy headshot|||Take it slow and sneaky. Always try to take cover behind a wall or in a bush to hide your location. the object is to see and shoot them before they even see you. Always make it difficult for people to see you. Use a silencer if you seem to be getting shot too much. If you're firing from long range, fire in burst.|||the game isnt even out yet and the beta is so full of glitches and bugs that it makes it unplayable|||i just run into the battle and go kamikaze.

(i die often)
